DEL BESHORE - ASSISTANT COACH

| Del Beshore has served as the lead assistant to head coach Mark Yoder since the 1998-99 season. Beshore was a three-time NAIA All-America honoree at California State College in California, Pennsylvania, where he set single-game season records for points, assists, and steals. He completed a bachelor of science degree (math-computer science) in 1978. He has played professionally in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls and also spent three seasons with Sacramora of the Italian Professional Basketball League. Beshore also played one season for the Fresno Stars of the Western Basketball Association and guided the Wyoming Wildcatters to the Continental Basketball Association finals as a player-coach in 1984. He has taught (computer science) and coached the boys' varsity basketball team at nearby Sanger High School since 1985. He and wife Debbie and their two sons, Jordan and Julian, live close to campus and are members of the Bethany Mennonite Brethren Church in Fresno. |
