Prior to FPU - Andre played two seasons at Lake Land Community College in Mattoon, Illinois before transferring to FPU.
Personal - Andre is a native of Belo Horizonte, Brazil... he is married to FPU volleyball player Lira Xavier... is fluent in both Portuguese and English... enjoys movies and camping... is a business management major.
As a sophomore (2004-05) - Andre appeared in nine contests... averaged 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
As a sophomore (2005-06) - Andre appeared in two contests for the Sunbirds... averaged 2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
