Personal - Full name is Richard T. Jennings III, but prefers to go by T.J.... was born in Oakland, California, March 2, 1981... parents are Rick and Cassandra Jennings of Sacramento... home church is St. Paul Baptist.
Prior to FPU - T.J. lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Christian Brothers High School... earned All-Metro league honors as a senior in 1999... T.J. redshirted his true freshman season at Alabama A&M.
The 2000-01 season - T.J. appeared in 15 games... averaged 1.1 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
The 2001-02 season - T.J. started 16 of the 29 games he appeared in... averaged 6.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game... scored a season-best 22 points against Concordia... was honored as the team's most improved player... also named to the NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete team.
The 2002-03 season - T.J. appeared in each of the team's 32 games, including 24 starts... averaged 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 28 minutes per game... led the team with 97 assists.
The 2003-04 season - T.J. appeared in 24 games, starting 16... averaged 8.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 30 minutes per game.
