Prior to FPU - Albert most recently attended Southwest Tennessee Community College where he played a significant role in the Saluqis 27-7 record run at the TJCCAA/Region VII and Western Divisions Championships... earned All-TJCCAA Western Division honors as a sophomore.
Personal - Albert's parents are Doris and Albert Jones... was born September 5, 1974... played for coach Jerry Edmond at Sierra Vista High School in Baldwin Park, California... named his team's "Most Inspirational Player" and received the "Top Defensive Player" award... graduated from SVHS in 1992... cousin Keith Closs played for the Los Angeles Clippers... is a psychology major.
As a junior (2003-04)- Albert appeared in each of the team's 31 games, including 23 starts... led the team in scoring with 13.6 points per game and in field goal accuracy with 52.7 percent... was second in rebounding with 5.0 per game.
As a senior (2004-05)- Albert appeared each of FPU's 29 contests... drew 22 starts... averaged 10.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 25.9 minutes per game.
