Personal - Jelmer, pronounced Yell-mer, is fluent in the Dutch German and English languages... enjoy music and movies... is a business finance major and is considering a career in investment banking.
Prior to FPU - Jelmer attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City last year... did not play basketball at Utah and has four seasons of eligibility.
As a freshman (2004-05) - Jelmer appeared in 20 of the team's 29 contests, including five starts... used primarily as a defender in the low post... averaged 0.9 points and 1.4 rebounds in 6.5 minutes per game.
As a sophomore (2005-06) - Jelmer appeared in 25 of the Sunbird's 28 contests, including 17 starts... averaged 1.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 14.9 minutes per game.
