Personal - Cory's parent are Robin and Pamela Wiggins of Fresno... sister Chantel played tennis at CSU Fresno... was born in Laton, California... lists Ken Griffy, Junior, and Kobe Bryant among his favorite athletes.
Prior to FPU - Cory played basketball at Central High School for former Sunbirds' standout Loren LeBeau... earned All-Tri-River Athletic Conference honors as a senior in 1999-00... attended Fresno City College last year, but did not play for the Rams.
As a freshman (2001-02) - Cory appeared in 25 of the Sunbirds 29 games... started 16 games... averaged 6.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game... scored a season-best 16 points in FPU's 87-74 win over Menlo.
As a sophomore (2002-03) - Cory appeared in 30 of the teams 32 contests, including 29 starts... averaged 12.4 points 6.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 27.6 minutes of action per game. |
