Exhibition final - Idaho State 82, Sunbirds 56

Pocatello, Idaho - The Idaho State University Bengals used double-figure scoring from four players to cruise to an 82-56 exhibition win over the Sunbirds in Pocatello tonight.
The Sunbirds held an early 12-11 lead, but a 17-0 Bengals run over an 8:25 span put the hosts in the drivers seat. FPU trailed by 11 at the break, 34-23.
Slim Millien (17 points), Matt Stucki,(12), Logan (Kinghorn, 11) and Kasey Winters (10) each reached double figures for the Bengals. Winters also pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds to complete his double-double.
Rudy Lopez led the FPU with 23 points an nine rebounds.
"This game gave us an opportunity to compete against a good team in a great environment," said FPU head coach Clark Sheehy. "Rudy (Lopez) was a bright spot for us. He really stepped up and played a great game. Hopefully we can build on this experience. It will help us prepare for our regular season."
The Sunbirds will continue exhibition play November 16 in the Save Mart Center against the Fresno State Bulldogs. Tip-off time is 8:00 p.m.
