The 2003-04 season will be Michael Pendleton’s seventh year as an assistant under Coach Wiese. He attended Seattle Pacific University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in 1992. Pendleton then continued his education in British Columbia, Canada, at Regent College and received his first master’s degree in Spiritual Theology (1997). In 2003, he completed his second master’s degree in sport psychology and is now teaching courses in the physical education department at FPU.
Pendleton specializes in scouting, game strategy, player skill development and mental skills training. He has also been published in “Winning Hoops” Magazine and Pelinks4u.com. Pendleton is also serving in his sixth year as the university assistant athletics director.
He is a native of Ripon, California and currently resides in Fresno with his wife Ann. When not coaching and teaching, you can find Michael out running and training for his latest marathon.
