Personal - Lindsay was born in Fresno and is the daughter of Olivia and John Shaver... nickname is Shay... is a Lakers and Michael Jordan fan... followed older sister Alyssa to FPU... also has a younger brother... has a special interest in photography... is undecided about a college major... home church is Riverpark Bible Church... utilized her Spanish language skills on a missions trip to Mexico last summer.
Prior to FPU - Lindsay enjoyed a sparkling 4-year career at Clovis West High School... her teams registered a combined 96-23 records with four Tri-River Athletic Conference championships and Valley championships in 2001 and 2002... she is the Clovis West all-time leading scorer... has piled up numerous awards including The Clovis Independent area player of the year in 2000 and 2002... was a three-time All-TRAC selection, including the TRAC 2002 player of the year... was the 2001-2002 Fresno Bee player of the year... was featured in a story by Terry Betterton published in The Fresno Bee on March 25, 2002.
As a freshman (2002-03) - Lindsay appeared in each of the team's 31 games, including nine starts... averaged 6.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in 20.8 minutes of action per game. |
