As a sophomore (2002) - Luis was the team's consistent number four runner... season best was a 27:49 at Woodward Park in the Region 2 Championship... named the team's Sunbird of the year. As a junior (2003) - Luis moved up to claim the team's number two runner slot... ran a career-best at Woodward Park 27:15 at the NAIA Region 2 championship.
