Personal - Francisco was born in Mexico City, but now calls Firebaugh home... his parents are Irene and Ruben Rangel of Firebaugh... is the third of six children... is fluent in both Spanish and English... nickname is Pancho... is a business finance major.
As a freshman (2003) - Francisco ran a season-best 29:09 at the Region 2 championship.
As a sophomore (2004) - Francisco saved his best for last, lowering his personal best to 28:24 at the Region 2 Championship... was honored as the team's most improved runner.
