Personal - Fabricio is fluent in both English and Portuguese... was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil... his full name is Fabricio de Oliveira a Silva Codeceira Lopes... his parents are Vera Maria de Oliveira e Silva Codeceira Lopes and Heilo Codeceira Lopes... has one sister, Camille... is an avid reader... double major in international business and political science... aspires to a career in professional soccer.
As a freshman (2001) - Fabricio made an immediate impact on the Sunbirds as a freshman... shared the goal-scoring lead (seven) with Orlando Ramirez... assisted on five others for a 19-point total, second highest on the team... was named the team's Most valuable player... named to the Golden State Athletic Conference and NAIA Region 2 teams... also earned NAIA All-America honorable mention accolades.
As a sophomore (2002) - Injuries limited Fabricio to 14 matches, including 12 starts... still was named to the All-GSAC team... notched seven goals and a team record 13 assists for 27 points on 53 shots... shared the team's most outstanding offensive player award with Eddie Gutierrez.
As a junior (2003) - Fabricio had a marvelous junior campaign... notched 15 goals and 31 assists for 61 points... his 31 assists crushes both his own FPU record (13) and the GSAC record (20) ... shared the FPU team most outstanding offensive player and most valuable player awards with Eddie Gutierrez and Orlando Ramirez.... was named the GSAC and NAIA Region 2 player of the year... was named the most valuable offensive player at the NAIA National Championship tournament... earned NAIA All-America first team honors... is the first FPU player to be named the NAIA National player of the year.
As a senior (2004) - Fabricio was limited to just nine contests ecause of injury, but still managed to score 19 points, including five goals and nine assists... shared the Most Valuable Player award with Orlando Ramirez and Milton Blanco... earned NAIA All-America first team honors.
