Personal - Jose' parents are Guadalope Santiesteban and Raymondo Lopez of Fresno... is fluent in both Spanish and English... is the oldest of three siblings... favorite TV show is 'The Simpsons'... enjoys playing Halo 2... favorite book is 'The DaVinci Code... is pre-med major and plans a career in pharmacology.
Prior to FPU - Jose earned All-North Yosemite League honors at nearby Sunnyside High School in 2002, 03 and 04... was named to the All-valley team as a senior as well as team MVP.
As a freshman (2004) - Jose appeared in 7 of the Sunbird's matches... logging in 220 minutes in the box, with a 1.22 goals against average and 1 shutout.
As a sophomore (2005) - Jose appeared in 2 of the Sunbird's 17 matches, only 1 of those in the goalie spot... logged in 60 minutes with a 1.51 goals agaisnt average.
