Personal - Paul was born in Redwood City... his parents are Charlene and Marshall Moran of Redwood City... has one older brother Ryan... home church is St. Pius... enjoy snowboarding... favorite book is 'Angels and Demons'... favorite soccer team is AC Milan... would like to play professional soccer... plans to open his own restaurant some day... is a business management major. Prior to FPU - Paul was a stalwart defender on a Bellarmine College Prep team that won 72 consecutive matches and four West catholic Athletic League and three C.I.F. championships... made 1st Team All CIF his junior and senior year... enrolled and played soccer at California State University, Fresno before transferring to FPU. As a junior (2004) - Paul appeared in 17 contests, including 15 starts... notched a pair of goals and a pair of assists for six points. As a senior (2005) - Paul appeared and started in all of the Sunbird's 17 matches... Paul was the backbone of the team's defense... took 2 shots both on goal... named to the All-GSAC Team and Outstanding Defensive Player with teammate Jared Dugger.
