Prior to FPU - Hector played varsity soccer at nearby Rossevelt High School.
As a freshman (2002) - Hector appeared in 18 matches, including eight starts... recorded three assists from his midfield position.
As a sophomore (2003) - Hector appeared in 22 of the team's 24 matches, drawing 15 starts.
As a junior (2004) - Hector appeared in 15 of the team's 19 matches, with seven starts.
As a senior (2005) - Hector appeared and started in all of the Sunbird's 17 matches... notched 1 assist and two shots, one of which was on goal... was named Sunbird of the Year.
