Fresno - Orlando Ramirez' two goals were more than the Fresno Pacific University Sunbirds needed to post a 7-0 win in the final match of the Sunbirds Classic this afternoon at Steinert Field.

Six players scored for the 2-0 Sunbirds. They shared the tournament championship with The Master's College Mustangs, a 6-1 winner over Alliant International earlier in the day.

FPU took a 1-0 lead at 17:22 when Eddie tapped in a Ramirez cross.

Ramirez scored two goals in 89 seconds (26:43 and 28:12) to put it out of reach.

"I was encouraged by what I saw on the field today," said FPU head coach Jaime Ramirez. "We were able to get some of younger players into the game and they did some nice things."

FPU travels to Cal State-Los Angeles next Saturday, September 4. Kick-off time is 1:30 PM.
