Los Angeles - Gaston Cignetti scored a 3-goal hat trick to lead the Fresno Pacific University Sunbirds to a 4-2 win over Cal State Los Angeles this afternoon..

FPU took a 3-0 lead in the first half on two goals by Cignetti (7:33 and 29:17) and one by Milton Blanco (19:14).

The Golden Eagles scored their two goals in less that three minutes (61st and 63rd) to make it close before Cignetti salted it away in the 84th minute with his third goal of the afternoon.

The Sunbirds, now 3-0 on the season, host Bethany next Saturday. Kick-off time at Steinert Field is 5:00 PM.
