Final: Sunbirds 2, The Master's 1 (Overtime)

Santa Clarita - Cameron Hill's golden goal in the 108th minute lifted the Sunbirds to a 2-1 overtime Golden State Athletic Conference win over the host Mustangs of The Master's College. The match was played at Reece Field in Santa Clarita.
Hill one-timed a perfect cross from Sebastian Villasenor with less than three minutes remain in the second overtime period.
The Sunbirds notched the win despite playing a man short for the final 33 minutes of the contest after Fernando Vaca was red-carded for a hard foul in the 75th minute.
Rob Miller got the Mustangs on the board at 21:18 with an assist from Ewout Van Rhee.
Miller's goal held up until FPU's leading scorer, Amaury Nunes, tied it at 50:58 with his ninth goal of the season.
Oscar Rodriguez was credited with three saves in the final 62:17 in relief of Josh Ollenberger to register the win.
"I thought we were the better team and enjoyed the better of the play," said FPU head coach Jaime Ramirez. "We made it tough on ourselves with the ejection, but everybody worked a little harder and we pulled it out."
The win lifted FPU's record to 5-3-2 overall and 4-1-0 in GSAC play. The Sunbirds remained tied with No. 6 Azusa Pacific and No. 15 Point Loma Nazarene for the GSAC lead.
The Mustangs dropped to 5-5-2 overall and 2-3-1 in GSAC play.
FPU will host San Diego Christian this Saturday. Kick-off time at Steinert Field is 3:00 p.m.
