Final: FPU 2, Concordia 2
Irvine - Goals by Dianna Ortega and Dora Yanez-Mejia lifted the Sunbirds to a 2-2 season-ending tie with the host Concordia University Eagles in Irvine this afternoon.
"I thought we had the better of the play in the overtime," said FPU head coach Jaime Ramirez. "But we couldn't punch on in."
The Sunbirds finished the season with a 6-9-2 record including a 2-6-2 record for eighth place (tie) in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
Fresno Pacific: 6-9-2, 2-6-2
Concordia: 9-8-2, 5-3-2
Concordia has won each of the four matches (4-0-1) by a combined margin of 11-3.
