Personal -Angie, as she prefers to be called, enjoys music, travelling and almost any sport... her parents are Luiza and Igor Minova of Kiev, Ukraine... her home church is the Pazaroslavrhaya Orthodox Church.
Prior to FPU - Angie was ranked No. 4 among National Junior College tennis players last season while attending Seminole State College in Seminole, Oklahoma.
As a sophomore (2005-06) - Achieved a 24-1 singles record and a 29-2 doubles record with partner Ana Karavayeva... spent the year in the number 2 slot for the Sunbirds... finished the season ranked #22 in the NAIA ITA Tennis poll singles and #6 in doubles... name to the All-GSAC Team, Region 2 Team, NAIA All-American 2nd Team.
