Sunbird middle distance specialist Claudio Moreno, etched his name on the FPU 1,500 career list with his performance today at the Cal-Nevada Championship at Warmerdam Field.
Moreno, a freshman from Madera, recorded a 3:57.34, the fifth fastest 1,500 meter mark in FPU history. It is the fastest time by a Sunbirds since Jose Sanchez ran 3:56.03 in 1993.
