Ed Stewart has been an assistant with the Sunbirds since the 2000 season. He graduated from Fresno Pacific with bachelor degree in Art and Biblical & Religious Studies. While at FPU, he threw hammer, discus, and shot put. He was also involved with ASFPC as the Student Ministries director. After completing his undergraduate degree, he received his single subject teaching credential for high school art. Ed has worked in youth ministry and was the associate pastor at Friends Community Church. Currently, he is working on his Master’s degree in Old Testament at Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary. He hopes to teach at Fresno Pacific when he completes his degree. In his spare time, Ed likes to paint and had his first art show in July 2004.
