Prior to FPU - Sarah was the North Sequoia League champion in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles as a senior... also ran a leg on the NSL champions 4x100 relay team... also played four years of basketball and volleyball at WUHS... was the WUHS 2003 valedictorian and female athlete of the year .
Personal - Sarah's parents are Joanne and Joey Campbell of Fresno... birthday is May 16... has one older sister... enjoys biking and water skiing...
As a freshman (2003) - Sarah ran a season best 16.95 in the 100 meter hurdles at the Bruce Drummond Invitational in Sacramento... ran a personal best 1:06.85 in the 400 meter hurdles at the GSAC championship.
As a sophomore (2004) - Sarah lowered her mark in the 100 meter hurdles two-tenths of a second to 16.74... tried the long jump (14-05.25), triple jump (33-07.25) and indoor pentathlon (2,198 points) for the first time. |
