Prior to FPU - Karley threw for Cal State Northridge and Soltana High School. During high school she was three years awarded All CIF and All-League, league champion two years and All State in her senior year (2002). Karley helped lead CSN to the Big West Championship in Track and Field. This year Karley participated in both the 2006 Indoor and Outdoor NAIA National Championships. Karley currently holds the FPU discus and hammer records (161-1, 191-0).
Personal - Karley hails from Riverside, CA born in Santa Cruz. Karley is one of 7 children of Day and Dawna Kalinich. Karley’s favorite movie is the “Passion of Christ.” Interesting fact Karley has broken her hand 3 times and have had to had reconstructive surgery twice. Karley’s home church is Harvest of Harmony. Karley is a kinesiology major.
