Prior to FPU - Gera helped the Buchanan High School Bears to three Tri-River Athletic Conference titles... was a 3-time All-TRAC selection, including TRAC player of the year in 2000 when she led the Bears to C.I.F. State quarterfinals and a number 8 ranking by Cal-Hi Sports... considered offers from Wyoming and Utah State, then elected to attend Utah Valley State Collegeher freshman season where she was a member of the 24-7 Wolverines basketball team.
Personal - Gera was born in Fresno... her parents are Genie and Rendell Pratt of Clovis... is one of six children... older sister Genae played four seasons (1999-02) of basketball for the Sunbirds... married Steve Bahr on May 11, 2002... home church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints... special interests include hiking, piano and reading... is a liberal studies major and plans a career as a junior high teacher and coach.
The 2002 season - Gera appeared in 40 matches and 118 games... used primarily as a defensive specialist, Gera averaged 2.49 digs per game.
The 2003 season - Gera appeared in 42 matches and 133 games... averaged 1.82 digs per game in FPU's national championship season.
The 2004 season - Gera appeared in 39 matches... used primarily as a defensive specialist... averaged 2.75 digs per game.
The 2005 season - Gera appeared in 31 matches... used primarily as a defensive specialist in her senior year... averaged 2.37 digs per game. |
