Prior to FPU - Chelsey played four seasons of golf and volleyball at Sierra High School in Tollhouse... was a three-time all-league selection for the Chieftains... named tot he All-Valley team in 1999 and 2000... also spent three years with the Central Cal Volleyball Club and one year with the Sports City Club.
Personal - Chelsey's parents are Debbie and Bob Duley of Tollhouse... also enjoys golf, wake boarding and horseback riding... home church is Northwest Church... is a liberal studies major and plans a career as an elementary school teacher.
As a freshman (2000) - Chelsey enrolled at Fresno State University where she became the starting setter for the Bulldogs midway through the season.
As a sophomore (2001) - Chelsey shared the setting duties with Lisa Enns in the Sunbirds 6-2 offense... appeared in 84 games and averaged 9.15 assists, 2.02 digs, 0.99 blocks and 0.96 kills per game.
As a junior (2002) - Chelsey was used primarily in the opposite hitter slot for the 2002 season... appeared in 33 matches and 92 games... averaged 1.77 kills, 2.29 assists and 1.02 blocks per game... enjoyed a .262 hitting percentage.
As a senior (2003) - Chelsey appeared in 127 games for the Sunbirds... contributed 2.11 kills, 2.87 assists, 1.17 digs and 0.87 blocks per game... was named to the GSAC and NAIA National Scholar Athlete teams. |
