Prior to FPU - Erin was a two sport athlete at Buchanan High School... earned letters in both basketball and volleyball... helped the volleyball Bears to the Valley Championship... earned Tri-River Athletic Conference second team honors as a senior in 2000. Personal - Erin's parents are Jennifer and Robert Mazmanian of Madera... has one younger sister... is a Lakers fan... has a special interest in photography... nickname is Maz... home church is Northwest Baptist... plans a career as a high school counselor. As a freshman (2001) - Erin appeared in 35 matches and 101 games... collected 141 kills and 75 blocks for and average of 1.40 kills and 0.74 blocks per game. As a sophomore (2002) - Erin appeared in 36 games spread over 22 matches... averaged 1.47 kills and 0.61 digs and 0.61 blocks per game. As a junior (2003) - Erin appeared in 49 games and averaged 1.55 kills while hitting .183... also contributed 0.88 blocks and 0.47 aces per game. As a senior (2004) - Erin appeared in 78 games... averaged 1.27 kills and 0.81 blocks per game... capped off her career by being named to the NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete team.
